Zusammenfassung: Der Beitrag fokussiert Passivkonstruktionen, deren Auxiliare aus Vollverben mit einer GET- beziehungsweise GIVE-Semantik und damit aus Verben des semantischen Netzwerks von Transferverben hervorgegangen sind. Neben der konzeptionellen Nähe der Ausgangsquellen der Passivauxiliare zeigen die hier in Rede stehenden Passivkonstruktionen auch sprachgeographische Überlappungen. Trotz dieser auffallenden (kognitivsemantischen und arealtypologischen) Parallelen stellte die zusammenschauende Diskussion von GIVE- und GET-Passiven im Deutschen und Luxemburgischen bislang eine Forschungslücke dar, die im Beitrag gefüllt wird. Hierzu werden – auf Basis panchronischer Analysen – die Grammatikalisierungspfade der GIVE- und GET-Passive beziehungsweise ihrer Auxiliare im direkten Vergleich miteinander nachgezeichnet.

Abstract: The contribution focuses on passive constructions whose auxiliaries emerged from full verbs with GET and/or GIVE semantics and therefore from verbs of the sematic network of transfer verbs. In addition to the conceptual proximity to the source of the passive auxiliary, the passive constructions also show language-geographic overlapping. In spite of these noticeable (cognitive-semantic and areal-typological) parallels, a comprehensive study of the GIVE and GET passives in German and Luxembourgish has remained a research gap, which will now be filled in by the contribution. For this purpose, the grammaticalisation paths of GIVE and GET passives as well as of their auxiliaries will be traced – on the basis of panchronic analyses – by direct comparison.
